The 15th edition of Sumol Summer Fest is just around the corner at Costa da Caparica – with a fresh look and a new flavour, but the same spirit as always.
With strategy and creativity by NERVO, and production by A MÁQUINA, SSF invites festival-goers to find their beach starting at the Inatel campsite, right by the iconic São João beach – which sets the stage for the festival grounds for the third year in a row.

The festival that is what you are returns more mature, with a refreshed visual identity.
New graphic and three-dimensional elements reflect a natural and necessary evolution in the legacy of Sumol Summer Fest.

We wanted to bring a new dimension – literally – to the festival’s language.
Something that would reflect not only the fresh mood of the event and of those who live it intensely, but also the urban character the brand embraces,” says Miguel Pires, Creative Partner at NERVO.

But it’s not just the festival’s visual identity that’s getting a refresh:
The on-site shower facilities and skate park are also being revamped with new artwork, thanks to artistic interventions by Gonçalo Mar and Pitanga, who return to the festival to strengthen the connection between urban art and the brand.

The new Sumol Lemon Beach Edition is the festival’s official flavour and sets the tone for the brand activation that brings the “Find Your Beach” campaign to life.
This is where festival-goers will play in the sand and take on a challenge where anything can happen – and surprises are guaranteed.

For the first time, the Sumol Patrol is diving headfirst into the festival to make sure everyone enjoys the experience down to the very last drop.
They’ll be amplifying activations across the festival grounds, beach and campsite. In case of an SOS, the luckiest festival-goers will be “rescued” straight to the VIP area – also known as Casa Sumol – now featuring a refreshed décor and an exclusive corner dedicated to the new edition.

“This is a project we’ve been developing in partnership with A MÁQUINA over the past few years, and it’s a source of great pride to continue this collaboration to ensure a truly memorable experience.
Producing a festival of this scale is always both a logistical and creative challenge – everything needs to work in perfect harmony, from the main stage to the brand activations,” says Tiago Tarracha, Managing Partner at NERVO.
