This General Privacy Notice was created by WY, S.A. (hereinafter also referred to as “WYgroup”, “we”, “us”, and “our”) to demonstrate that we respect the privacy not only of our website visitors but of all data subjects with whom WYgroup has responsibilities has a Data Controller, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (“GDPR”).

Wgroup collects data through this website for the following purposes:

Retention Period

In the event that WYgroup is processing your personal data, we will store your information only for the time required to fulfil the purposes set forth above, or until you raise an objection regarding our use of your data, or until such time as you withdraw your consent (when you have consented that we use your personal data).

However, in cases where WYgroup is obliged by law to keep your personal data for a longer period, or when your personal data is required for WYgroup to lodge or defend against legal claims, we maintain your personal data until the end of the relevant retention period or until the claims in question have been resolved.


Information to third parties

WYgroup may send your Personal Data to other group agencies (please visit www.wygroup.net for more information), affiliates and third parties to help WYgroup process your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. We may disclose your Personal Data if we or any of our assets are the subject of a sale or similar corporate transaction. We will ensure that the third parties who receive your Personal Data are required to keep it confidential.

When WYgroup reasonably believes that it’s required by law, WYgroup may disclose Personal Information to third parties in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual unlawful or otherwise prohibited activities, including, but not limited to, fraud.


Where we process information about you

In doing the above, we may need to transfer personal information about you to other companies in the WYgroup or third parties located (or whose servers may be located) in countries outside of the country where you have applied, including countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). If we send personal information about you to a country that is not in the EEA, we will make sure that there is a legal basis for such transfer and that your personal information is adequately protected as required by applicable law (for example, by using standard agreements approved by relevant authorities and by requiring the use of other appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information).

This website is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from or about any person under this age.
