On October 2nd and 3rd, the Grande Auditório of Culturgest in Lisbon hosted another edition of the Portugal Renewable Energy Summit (#PRES2025), the annual conference organized by APREN — Portuguese Association of Renewable Energies. Recognized as the leading national event dedicated to the renewable energy sector, the summit has, for over a decade, brought together business leaders, policymakers, and international experts to discuss policies, regulation, strategy, and innovation in the sector.
This year, APREN partnered with White Way for the creative development of the Congress. This collaboration marks the association’s return as a client of the agency, strengthening a relationship built on trust, purpose, and a shared strategic vision.
The developed creative approach focuses on a modular visual language that represents the various renewable energy sectors supported by APREN. It uses six brand universe icons, each referencing a different energy source, which combine into diverse graphic elements—distinct yet complementary. This approach ensures impactful communication before, during, and after the event, adapting seamlessly across multiple platforms and audiences. The modularity and graphic diversity further reinforce APREN’s role as a unifying and guiding force within the sector.
“This project represents what we believe in: purpose-driven creativity that empowers ideas and institutions. It is a privilege to return to working with APREN and to contribute to the association’s mission of inspiring and supporting its members in building a more sustainable and renewable energy system.” — Filipa Montalvão, Partner at White Way.
The White Way creative work will be visible across all Congress communications, from the pre-event phase to all of APREN’s digital platforms and materials, reinforcing the association’s mission with its audiences and strategic partners.
In addition to the Congress, White Way was also responsible for the creative design and production of the APREN 2025 Yearbook — a key publication that compiles the main data, trends, and analyses of the renewable energy sector in Portugal — with an online version available here: https://anuario.apren.pt/
Through this collaboration, APREN reaffirms its role as an active voice in the energy transition, while White Way strengthens its commitment to projects that engage and drive transformation.
