Filipa Montalvão, co-founder and partner at White, has joined the group of esteemed professionals from various fields invited by the editorial team of Executiva to contribute with suggestions, fresh perspectives, and commentary. Filipa Montalvão is the newest member of the Executiva Editorial Board, joining a distinguished group of highly respected professionals known for their expertise and leadership. The board also includes Ana Fontoura, Communications Director at Fidelidade Seguros; journalist Filipe S. Fernandes; Marta Carvalho Araújo, co-founder of Neonia Porto; Pedro Janela, founder and CEO of digital marketing services group WYgroup; Sara do Ó, Chairwoman of the Board at Ó Capital; Soledade Carvalho Duarte, Managing Partner at Invesco/Transearch; and Teresa Cardoso de Menezes, General Manager at Informa D&B.

Filipa Montalvão is a partner and co-founder of White Way, the strategy and creativity agency of WYgroup. Always passionate about impactful ideas, she found her natural space in brand building and design. For the past 19 years, she has led a team of over 40 people in a project that combines strategic thinking, design, and brand culture. She has worked with leading companies in both national and international markets, across sectors such as banking, energy, healthcare, mobility, and consumer goods.
Graduated in Graphic Design from IADE (1997), Filipa began her career while still a student. She joined teams in design and communication agencies, where she developed solid technical and strategic skills. In 1999, she experienced for the first time the challenges and rewards of running her own business. Over seven years, she led projects for national and multinational brands, gaining a broad and multidisciplinary perspective on design’s role in value creation.
Filipa believes that entrepreneurship is not a one-time act, but a daily commitment to what one believes in. That belief led her, in 2006, to found White Way within the WYgroup ecosystem. Since then, she has remained focused on growing meaningful brands, nurturing talent with purpose, and guiding teams with clarity. Today, in addition to her strategic leadership, she plays a central role in People and Operations, with a firm conviction that strong brands are built on strong human relationships.
